WOW!
I had heard good things about the hyper-pro dampers before and I was considering getting one, but now I'm going to do some heavy reconsideration and look at other options
Thanks :thumbup

anybody ever used a gpr stabilizer. I used one on my mx bike before so I was at the races in B'ham and bought one for my 03 r1 and the company installed it. It mades on the same style as scotts.Cost 300 installed and it works great. I could tell a big difference on the ride back to Montgomery. My used to want to tank slap on hard accelleration with the front end up now it stays straight and no tank slap. I ran it up to 165 and is much more stable. I have to keep it a while to really say but for the price I think it works well. I save 150.00.

I didn't save $150. I wanted to get a good one so I bought a Scotts. Buying cheap stuff gets you cheap stuff.

Did you keep your HyperPro cranked all the way up to the stop? Most people I know have had them fail only when they keep them cranked all the way up. The directions say not to go any farther than two clicks from full hard. That's what I've done, and I've had mine a full year now, and it's been great.

<---over a year with Hyper pro... No problems. Usually between 5 and 7 clicks

Using my hyperpro for about 30.000 miles now. Has survived 2 crashes :crash (including planted in the gravel upside down at the track with some marks on the caliber but polished them out as good as i could) and still it's working perfect. :rock
From what the dealers told me when i bought mine 1.5 year ago was that all 2001 and previous models had big problems with like 1 out of 3 with the problem you're describing, leaks and stuff. It was a known problem. I know at least 4 guys using one and none of them have had problem with theirs so far, they are all manufactured after jan 2002 though.
I guess at least the replaced ones were also from after this date, bad luck i guess, or maybe we are just lucky :)

Hey man I just bought one at the Track(BARBER) as well for $300 but haven't installed it yet. I've been trying to find Threads on the GPR but there isn't much to read. Alot of guys ragging others about the looks of it but to me I don't give a shit as long as it works. I'd like to get some of those loud mouth shit-talkers on the track just to shut them up!!!!!
What setting do you have yours on now???
