Anyone interested / have a hook up for a Powerbronze Group Buy?

I know there are quite a few people that are looking for screens for the 02's and I'm sure there are still some people with 01's and older that are looking for a screen with good quality at a decent rate. From other posts, it looks like the 02 screens will be ready soon, does anyone know anyone that can get us a deal on the powerbronze screens.....if we get maybe 10 or 15 buyers....maybe more? How many people do you think want one?:)

I don't think I am going to change my screen, but I am pretty sure I could get a deal together. Give me the spedifics and what you think you would normally pay for it, and I will figure something out...

I was actually thinking of posting this topic yesterday! I'm down. A colored Airflow goes for $69 from kneedraggers. I think ten of us could get about ten bucks off. Whatever the case, like I said, I'm down.

I found a place online that sells them....http://www.ccpperformance.com/ and their prices include shipping 59.99 for colored standard screen 74.99 for colored airflow screen kneedraggers.com sells them as well for 69.00 and I don't know if that includes shipping or not. Think if we get enough people we can maybe save $10? Anyone know where there are better prices?:cool:

I just talked to my guy....He is checking his cost on that item right now. He told me that we should be able to get a pretty sweet deal together. I should have some figures by tomorrow morning..

I too would like to see a picture of the AirFlow for the '02 before committing. It will be between PB & ZG for me. But at this time I'm willing to give the PB a try if it looks good.:crash Cheers

I got the deal worked out for the Powerbronze wind screens... My guy says we can get 'em for $57.50 plus shipping (he says shipping is a couple bucks). Coupla Things: 1. I met someone at Vanson's this weekend. He said PB had this CRAZY problem of focusing the sunlight onto the dash and melting your guage :eek: Like a magnifying glass burning ants. Anyone ever hear of this? Could be :bs , but he said he saw pictures posted on a forum! (RR forum, I think) At any rate, I seriously doubt this would be an issue with a colored/smoked screen :cool: 2. Jeremy said to just email him - most convenient jeremyhts@yahoo.com 3. PB had problem with a Honda screen melting gauges. The problem seems to have remedied by PB, after a little hasstle. I saw a thread on the web about it, can't say it's true.

I bought one of the powerbronze windscreens about a month ago. It cost around 80 dollars. The fit was really shitty and I had to redrill some of the holes so it could fit my '00 R1. I liked it originally because it had a good tint to it and it provided a nice arch for better wind protection without looking ugly like some of the others I've seen. Also the shape wasn't perfectly aligned. I dont know if I received one of the bad ones that come out here and there.I did'nt want to return it and wait another week. It is still one of the best shapes out there still, and if it fits right you'll like it. Now I'm thinking of just buying another one like stock but tinted. Cant send a pic, no means for snapping one. Best site ever!!! See ya....

ExtremeR1der, You stated above that a tinted/coloured PB airflow was gonna run about $68.00 through a Forum Group Buy. upon checking kneedraggers.com's site the PB airflow in tint/colour runs $69.00. A savings of $1.00 is not exactly the deal of the century. I'm not trying to slag you, but whom ever is giving the Forum a "deal" is not realy giving a group discount. Just thought you might care to know, for the good of the Forum.:confused: Cheers

Hey dulci and everyone else looking, yeah, I love kneedraggers. I get almost ALL my sh1t from them - thousands in the last 12 months! joaz22 set this deal up. You're right, it's not the deal of the century, but that 68 bucks includes shipping :rock So you save about ten bucks. 10 bucks is 10 bucks and that's pretty good for a 70 dollar item. Anybody have any pics. Picture on an 02' would be nice but I'm sure that's not around. I would like to see what their colored shield look like. Would the blue look good on my 02?...... need pics.

yeah, that was me that said $68. that's if you want a colored screen (5 bucks more for a colored screen). so technically $67.50.

Nope. Still haven't gotten it. I think I was the first order from us (joaz's group), but I'm also a lot farther. :(

Got my Smoke Airflow today. I am very happy with the quality and it looks like an awesome screen. Will mount tonight when I get home and report back! I ordered a new digital camera a few days ago. Will post pictures when it comes in. :rock :jump :D

okay. i JUST got mine and threw it on. it's kinda late/dark so i did the best i could with pics ... anyone else have pics or have a place to host my lame ass pics so others can see?

Got about 80 miles in yesterday and I give a big :thumbup to the Airflow. It was fairly windy and the wind protection for us tall riders is significantly better.

Mine got here today...looks great, I will put it on tonight...
