Teknic Lightning full suit

Ok, so I posted about this suit in the General motorcycle forum, and was asked by the wonderful mod to post a review here, so I shall. I love this suit! It was tight in the crotch when I first put it on (as most suits are I have heard), but felt great seated on the bike. After about an hour or so of riding, the leather stretched a bit, and wasn't as tight anymore. It feel very good on. There is enough ventilation to keep cool. The legs are a bit snug, but fine for me. I am 6'1", 190lbs. The suit has some room in hte gut area. I bought it for an incredible price at my dealer, as they were looking to get rid of it (no one around here wears full gear it seems), but I wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to anyone. The price at Kneedraggers is $495, and the MSRP is $600. Either price, it's a great deal for some really good gear. It has the requisite hip pads, back protection (no hump though), removable knee armor, removable pucks, elbow and chest armor. This suit is definately first class leather at a very nice price. I have the lightning jacket as well. I don't think I will wear the suit for little rides, or commuting to work. If you are looking for a jacket, I also suggest the teknic. Take everything I said above and apply it to the jacket as well, except for the things that don't apply (knee pucks and such). ok. Heres a pic...

I have the same exact suit. I agree totally. It was tight to begin and after a few track days it feels good. I like the look, the feel, and the comfort of perf on the hot days as well. THumbs up on the Lightning Suit. Anyone looking to pick one up should hit www.newenough.com Got mine there brand new for 369.00.

I can get a Teknic Lightning 2 pc. suit from a local dealer for $350 out the door. Tell me if this is a good deal, should I jump or not? Sounds good, but I thought I would ask everyone else. Thanks ...

Hey everyone. I'm thinking of picking up a Lightning from NewEnough. Can you guys give me your opinion of the suit now that you've had it for awhile? How's it holding up, how's it fitting, etc.? Also, how big are you guys and what size did you end up getting. Anything you'd recommend to a new buyer (as far as size)? NewEnough says they run a little small. Thanks in advance, Eric

:hellobye Is this a good buy? Brand new to twisties and the guys I run with strongly recommend I wear either a 2 piece or 1.. Either way I would feel more comfortable knowing I have a second skin. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/mcy/211433596.html
