Got mine on April 7th and I've put on 2938 miles so far (and many days in April I couldn't ride due to shit weather :mad: )

:rock Yeah! I got my 2003 Liquid Silver R-6 on April 11. one week after I bought weylinj (R-1 Forum Member) his 2001 Blue R-1. I have 1550 miles on it so far. I only live 1 1/2 miles from work, that's the only thing that sucks. But I go riding every time I get a chance, if the weather doesn't act up. :mad:

yeah that awesome! we all have the exact bike and got the fastest and nicest colour too :D

Picked mine up Jan 24. I have 4789 miles as of last night...

I had just under 3500 miles on my 03 r6 (silver) before a car hit me on 4/30. Had bought the bike 3/10. Not bad for 6 weeks given that I only live 6 miles from work. Will be riding again in two weeks (after I get this cast off my foot :P) and plan to put just as many miles on the 03 r1 I just bought.

i HATE when shit breaks down...last summer my GSX-R600 broke down about, no exageration, 40 times...and we're talking on the highway, on bridges, on backstreets, on city streets, in driveways...etc...well, you get the idea :lol

but, you got a yamaha, and an added bonus in that its brand new, and so do i!!!! woah, ok ok, i gotta calm down...i guess i'm little overly enthusiastic because i finally have a bike that works this year :lol

My wife's is stuck at just over 1500 mi. It has been at the dealership for over a week and they are telling us the parts won't be in until the end of the month. That means about 6 weeks in the shop.:mad: :mad: :mad: ready to:machinegu

I bought mine in the end of Feb and my blue baby has around 3,000 miles on it. Thanks to the rash of shitty weather :ugh we have had in N. Georgia I would have 3x's that many

I bought mine about 5 weeks ago, and I've got just over almost 2500 kms on it, thats just over 1500 miles. I'm lovin every minute of it, except when its really really hot outside and the heat from the engine just makes my nuts sweat buckets.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks and have over 1200 K, I don't know what that is in Miles. But last night was WHEELIE TIME, FINALLY OUT OF BREAK IN!!!!

How many miles can it take before major problems occur? As in engine problems, etc...

i bought mine on April 22, i have been in CA away from my bike for a total of 5 weeks after buying the bike and I have 3621 miles on it. :machinegu low mileage bikes
