i have decided that i need some leathers and i need one that provieds good protection and VENTILLATION. i live in the desert where temps go up to 120degrees but i don't fee like riding my r1 at 50+mph without a shirt and just my b-ball shorts on.. price doesn't really matter to me.. i'm looking for a full suit, but more towards a 2piece tahn a 1piece. any input would be greatly appreciated. thnx

How tall are you? I'm thinking of selling my Dianese and my Spidi. Both worn once on the street and never on the track

For a Fully Vented Suit with good protection I do not think you are going to find alot of options with a two piece suit or Jacket/Pants Combo. That is more of where a 1 Piece fills the void. I had a Dainese Safty Pro II in black, and it was by far the BEST suit I have ever had in my life. Fully Vented for those hot days, very very comfortable, and soo much protection you felt like you were invincible. Too Bad I got too fat for the suit and sold it, now they don't make them anymore. Some Options: Alpinestars Stunt Jacket is available fully perferated in the Red/Black color Only. It comes with CE Protectors, but I would recommend upgrading them to the GP Protectors that come with their racing suits. Combine that with Track Pants that are somewhat vented on the inside of the Thighs and it would be liveable.

thnx guys. i'm 5'10" and 170lbs i think i'm gonna go with alpinestars 1 piece TLD suit.. i was thinking about Dainese Talos, but they cost almost around 2500$.. the 1 piece TLD suit costs 1,200$..about half of the Dainese.. this might be just me but.. there's a clothing called under armour. they are super thin, stretchy, and EXTREMELY COOL (temperature wise..) shirts. pro atheletes, especially football players, wear these babies under their pads for protection/coolness. I'm a football player and i own about 8 pair of these. regular tshirts, long sleeve, and leggings. it could be just me, but wearing these under my leather was A WHOLE LOT cooler than wearing a whiteshirt or whatnot under my leathers.. give them a try.. you can get them at any sports authority. the tshirts run for 25$, long sleeve 35$, and a leggins cost 40$. i wear these everywhere since they are so cool and comfortable..its like my second skin. give them a try

for $1200 for an Alpinestars Suit that is off the rack, I believe for a Little Bit More you could get a Vanson 1 or 2 Piece made exactly to your size and your requirements (vented, non-vented, etc) And it would be a perfect fit. I'm rather sorry I just ruched into purchasing mine, and never gave Vanson a thought as they don't seem to be a very mainstream apparel manufacturer. I'm on my second Alpinestar Suit trying to get a good fit, and it's getting annoying to keep sending back and re-ordering to get it right. And in the end, I know that it may fit good enough, but for alittle bit more (in my case, alot more) I could have had a perfect fit suit. Thanks, Ray
