:hellobye This is my first jacket and I am very satisfied. It has padding on the shoulders, elbows and a pad on the back. Also has a removeable liner for them hotter days. I rode yesterday along PCH without the liner and it was a little nippy, but the jacket kept me nice and warm. Then went through the mountains to the 101 which was HOT!! It still kept me cool because of the material that allows air to flow through it. Very good first jacket. Works good through hot and cold. :rock :rock
