Mothly Squadron meeting/RIDE

Rezar suggested a monthly squadron meeting/ride. I was wondering what dates would be good for people for the next meeting for the month of June. I could bring the patches and stickers that i have for the people that ordered them. Maybe Rezar will have the shirts done also.

I forgot about the forum meeting in Los Vegas. How many squadron members are plannig on attending. Maybe we can all get together then.

I am going to Vegas...already have a room reserved. Do you already have the patch's and stickers? If so I would like to get them before the Meeting to have them displayed when I get there. (2 patch's and 2 stickers)

I not 100% that i am going yet. I am waiting for my time share in Vegas to call me to see if there is a room available. If it is available then i am going for sure. I might truck my bike or ride i would prfer to truck it up though. I was just wondering what you were up to. I read that you were looking for someone to trailer your bike with. Let me know what you are thinking. We might be able to work something out.

As of right now, I am going to rent a truck becuase I couldn't find anyone else that wanted to trailer/truck the bike up there. I wanted to ride up there but because of my back injury I don't think I can make it on the bike. So the only alternative is to rent a truck.

If i go you can ride with me. That is if you can cancel the rental after i know i'm going for sure.

I haven't made reservations yet. Do you know when you will find out for sure if you are going?

I hope that i will know in a week. I know that is pushing it but it is up to my timeshare that i have. they said i have a good chance of getting in. So right now i am planning as if i am going.

Ok, I have had a few developments come up so maybe we can help each other out. I am going to Vegas, but my wife can't go now, thus no truck / no trailer. If someone has a truck we can use my trailer to get our bikes up there, otherwise I will just ride the whole way with whatever I can fit in my tank bag. Also, I'd like to meet sometime this weekend to get some stickers / patches hooked up and maybe see about getting t-shirts made. I have a design for some cards I'll bring up as well. Plus... hell, it's fun to ride with ya'll Anyone want to suggest a time / place?

Hey all, I didn't even know we were arranging stickers and such for our squadron? Hmmm...I set up on this board to let me know when anyone posts anything in this forum and I haven't gotten an email (unless I did a post for a particular thread), so I didn't think anyone was posting....damn. Anyway, I'm planning on going to Vegas and throwing my R1 in the back of my pickup. So, I'll follow you guys out if you don't mind. However, if you guys are riding and don't want a truck following you (or not able to keep up...it's damn slow with a V6) then let me know and I'll just go on Thursday (unless i'm working by then) instead. But would rather go with the squadron up there. As for a monthly meeting I'm down with that. However, it's probably easier if you make it for a certain date each month (like the 1st or 15th or something). That makes it easier to remember. Plus, would everyone want one place to always hold the meetings at or move it around? Just trying to help

Ronin how many bikes can you fit in your trailer. I got the truck. If we could fit three that would be perfect.

Stil do not know if im going so i'm just trying to plan ahead as if i am going. By the way i have enough room in the truck it is a four door.

We could possibly fit three, it's set up for 2 with choks, but a third might fir in the middle.

Do you have a ramp we could put the third bike in my truck bed?

I'll have a ramp with me. It's a big aluminum one. I use it to load my R1 in the back of my pickup. Usually works very well. I'll have it with me...so depending on when you guys are loading the bikes, I could bring my ramp up and help. Just let me know.

Is anyone still planning on riding up there ? i dont have a truck option (the wife has to drive something while im gone) so im pretty much riding or not going.

Whether we truck it or ride, we still can go all together.

I don't have a ramp, but my trailer is built for bikes so it is easy to load and unload if you want to ride part way. But like I said, I'll be there no matter what.

Thats cool I was just trying to make it easy for every one but ended up making it complicated. I just hope i get my room and i just found my uncle is going to be in town that weekend. I really want to go to Vegas. If i go i'll deffenetly ride there with you guys. Thanks

Thanks So you are not going to take you truck? If not, let me know so I can make reservations from the rental company.

I think you should make your reservations just in case i cannot make it. I am pretty sure i am going. When i find out for sure you can cancel the res to save some money. But i do not whant to screw you over if by some chance i cannot make it. if i go i will be taking my truck though. If you have any questions let me know. You can call me at 909 926 1072 if you want.
