Heating Up a Drag Slick?

Hey folks,just wondering about this,i've just bought a drag slick to go along with my wheelie bars,and was wondering if anyone new of the proper technique to the burnout with one of these things.:confused:

if its a new slick try and get a heat cycle through it before you go to the drags, and let it cure for 24 hours. it helps the slick last longer than many heat cycles in a row e.g multiple passes at the drags. the only way though is to take the bike somewhere and do a nice burnout then let it cool for 24 hrs.
