Like the title suggests, what tires are you using and how would you rate them compared to others you have had?

I use M1 Sportec and BT012ss ..... the end. Both get about 3500 miles and they are toast.

But I am thinking of switching to the 180/55X17 208's...

I use the M1 and so far it's been the best tire I have used and I have used many.

I'm running stock rubber on my '02.. they suck compared to the D207's I had on my '00 R1 and '99 TL-R.. much less confidence-inspiring on bumpy surfaces and grip sucks in the turns.. gonna get some Diablos soon and try them out for a change..

Was riding on M1's (loved 'em), but won a free set of Diablo's on another forum, so I switched out. Awesome tires, have 3 hard track days and ~800 street miles on the set, and they barely look used :rock

Evil, post up how you like the Corsa front when you get a chance to try it. Still deciding what to do about track tires...

M1's are what I have now and they work great.

I'm still using the stock Dunlops. When they are worn I'll be
getting the Bridgestone's most likely. I want a good wearing
tire with decent grip. I do a lot of open road riding without
hard turns.

I run Dunlop 208GP-A's. By far the best tire out today (In my Opinion):hellobye

I use the Pirelli race compound. Even with the 190 rear they turn in much quicker than stock. The more rubber on the road the better, in my book. They do wear pretty quick though. A little over 3000 miles and I'm down to the cords, but I also commute on the thing.

second set of stock 208 ZR's but plan to switch to something different for track day 7/2. Which ones had the yellow writing? They look cool

Dunlop 208 ZR's

Never run race tires on the street unless you live in Vegas or somewhere where it's always 120 degrees.

Thanks for all the info guys. I think i'm going to go with M1's and see how they work out. Mostly everyone i talk to says the 208's suck. The above statements also tend to support that claim. Goodbye Dunlop.

Dunflops do suck, I run Dragon Supercorsas 180/55's on the street no problem, gettin about 2500miles a set, just can't ride rain mang.

M1's dont last much beyond 2K, 010's dont last much beyond ~2.8K. Pilot Road rear/Pilot Sport front is the answer for those of us who put miilees on the bike and demand handling + stiction (5K of spirited riding) so far no tire has done this on the One. Just my opinion.

I've had 3 sets of 207's on my cbr900rr,they had a fall it feeling close to the edge,I also had BT56 ss which were very nice, but
the best i think were AVON AV39/40 Great!!!
I still have the stock 208's on my '02 R1 and I have no complaints.
They steer better than 207's ! I'll probably put a set of Pilot sports next. You do need to try different tires for yourself, it is objective. Besides they don't last lon anyway! Good luck !
