Anyone knows how to remove sticker (factory stickers) from bikes? Someone told me to blow dry in the area to heated up and the sticker should come out. Anyone has tried this before or do you have a better suggestion? Thanks. I'll be waiting for the answer. -J-

Get a heat gun or hair dryer, heat up the stickers until they get "soft" and peel them off slowly. If you do it right and take your time you won't have any glue residue left on the fairing. :)

Mackz, I was able to remove the first one. Success, thanks, the only thing is that just a tiny amount of residue was left in one part. What's the eassy way to remove the residue? (Not too much, just a tiny in few spots.) Didn't want to heat it too much, afraid of bubbling the pain. In the next one, how hot can I go? Thanxs.

A nice high quality paint thinner/remover and 250-grit sandpaper should work nicely on your 750.......... :p

Sounds like the sandpaper will kill my paint and leave scratches all over. New at this paint stuff guys. ;)

That's what great about Gixxers...........the depreciation is already factored in to its resale value so you can take a brand new one, trash it completely, and sell it for a tremendous loss.....just like the poor slob who tries to take care of it.:beer :yesnod

If you're ever in the same boat again, WD40 does the trick too so I'm told.
