i am 6'1" and 200lbs. so i ordered the relaxed fit 38x36. i should have gone a little bigger and gotten the 40x34. you don't want to order these too long because it misplaces the kevlar knee linings and can put them too low. i recommend ordering these a size wider than you usually wear. if you get them too wide you can just throw on a belt. mine are a bit snug around the thighs and i didn't think i even had that big of legs. i went out and got some bicycle shorts with a gel crotch today after reading another post on here about squashed nuts. i came too close a few times the other day. so we'll see how that works out. great pants. they are some heavy ass jeans. there is a ton of yellow kevlar sewn in the ass and knees too. these jeans look of very high quality and since i'm probably getting my first bike tomorrow there should be a crash test soon enough :bash
here are the details on the gel nut protector pants:

don't mind the really gay picture :ugh good shorts with a super comfy ball rest. only $30 on sale. if they save my boys they are worth 10 times that.

Bringing back up an old thread...... ;)
I just got my Draggin' (Utility) Jeans in.... These are the (somewhat) baggy jeans with lots of extra kevlar to cover the areas where the jeans may slide up/down due to the extra fabric. I ordered a size larger and they ended up fitting perfect and looking very nice.
My question... has anyone on this forum ever wrecked wearing draggin jeans? If so, how well did they protect? After reading some of the threads on here yesterday I decided to order a full leather suit, but I wonder how well these work for the "short trips".

I watched a friend of mine lowside at about 60 in some draggin jeans, and an alpinestar leather jacket. The jeans held up well, the rear pockets burned through, but no seam ripping nor any sign of damage to the kevlar portions. I did post about this a while back but cant find it now.
Anyways they work better than denim, but not as good as a leather suit.
