What sprocket sizes are you guys running. I'm spending too much money trying to get the right combo. I spend most of my time at an 1/8th mile track nearby every Thursday and 1/4 once a month. full sys lowered 6" over arm NX 250-260lbs rider

I dropped two tenths off of my 1/8th mile times from dropping the front sprocket down two teeth (16 to 14). I would use the speed calculator for the R1 and select the lowest gearing that would allow you to attain your existing 1/8th mile mph without shifting into third. Front sprockets are cheap and easy to change so you could always go back to your present gearing when you leave the track.
