Scorpion GP Oval High Exit Titanium Flame Slip On Exhaust

this is a new pipe for scorpion in '03. it is so new that most places selling it don't even have it in their catalog or website. beware when ordering this pipe... I have been through a lot of drama trying to get it I first ordered from moto depot and had to wait over 1 week to get the pipe because of labor day weekend. I finally get the package... open it and it's a scorpion high exit GP oval but in satin titanium finish and not flame titanium. I look at the box from scorpion and it is marked flame titanium I call moto depot and the guy says he's going to call the warehouse and get back with me. he didn't get back with me for two days so I cancel the order, then place it again w/ parts 411. I get the pipe from parts 411 today and the same mix up occured. right box... wrong pipe! If I don't get the right pipe this time I'm going to say forget the scorpion and go with something else. Maybe I just should order the high exit satin titanium and then I'll get a flame titanium finish. kwicky #1

As far as the Scorpion quality I have to say I'm very happy with them. I have a 03 Liquid Sliver R1 and decided to go with the High Mount Carbon Fiber Scorpion. The pipe sounds great and no loss of power. I have no PC3 on my setup. Not as loud as the other pipes, but it has that sweet mellow tone throughout the powerband. It sounds like a packing mess up at Scorpion in the U.K. The product is very good and keep in mind it has the life time warr on it. I've got about 2k miles on mine and no problems at all. I understand your frustration and I would feel the same way. I'd call Scorpion direct and explain to them what you have gone through and maybe they can make it up to you. Hey, just a thought.
