how long to change headlight bulbsjustrideit 06-06-2003, 09:48 PM never really looked at the assembly going for a track day and want to take the bulbs out of the headlights how long to remove? justrideit 06-06-2003, 09:54 PM bumpy illusion 06-06-2003, 09:56 PM 30 seconds literally Cushdrive 06-06-2003, 09:56 PM Not long at all man...You'll see some wires going into the back of the headlights...give them a firm pull. Then there's a tab near the bottom of the assembly to pull the rubber boot off...do that. Then there's a wire bracket that holds the bulb in place....push the little handle in, and push down a little bit....then just pull the bulb out. Be carefully not to touch the glass part itself...that's bad news. May take a minute each. justrideit 06-06-2003, 09:59 PM :) :) ricardo 06-07-2003, 10:36 AM You might as well take the whole headlight off if you are doing a track day. Thats what I do. 9mile 06-07-2003, 10:41 AM It's easier to pop the fuses for both headlight and signals. Fuse box underneath the little front panel on the left, fuses are clearly marked. You guys are the greatest.. thats why I love this forum. Tried to change my bulbs. Got stuck. Ran to the computer, in less than 30seconds found this thread. In less than 2 minutes had my new bulbs in. And in less than 3 minutes..
I"M BLIND!!! *LMAO*
Because I brought some super bright bulbs, the bluish-super white ones couldnt believe how bright they were.. noticed that was just low beams, so turned on the high beams and went to take a look from in front and now I cant see..
like a dumbass..
but thanks! Daekwan 06-07-2003, 12:38 PM Just did it again. Kinda like the pretty colours... *still woozy* thekid 02-26-2004, 11:43 AM hey daekwan,
what kind of headlights did you install?
-Matt The Woodman 02-28-2004, 02:55 AM once you figure out them little retainer clips the first time you replace headlight bulbs it does only take like 30 seconds per side
Oh and I am sure you know this already but I'll still say it. It dont matter how clean your hands are DONT TOUCH THE BULBS WITH YOUR SKIN ! the oil from your skin will get hot and boil on the bulb causing it to pop ron3005 02-28-2004, 01:51 PM Originally posted by Daekwan
