Just received my new MPS Tether Kill Switch last week. Does anyone have one of these installed on there R1. I wanted to mount it right on the clip on but there is no room. Any pics or info would be helpfull. Thanks

There is no room on either of the handlebars for a MPS Tether Kill Switch. There has to be another brand. I need one myself and will email MPS after emailing this.

Actually, it might be possible to loosen the stock starter/on off switch and slide it over a little making room for the 1/2 inch MPS Tether Kill Switch. But, the grooves for the starter/on off switch will not be aligned. I would rather get a hold of a company that has already dealt with this issue.

MPS suggested the following: "Much easier to move the throttle out. Either groove the bars or remove the tab."

But it looks like you need a modified bar end if you move the throttle out. I think the bar end will tighten the throttle when it is tightened back down. Oh well someone will figure something out.

I know this sound cheesy, but I mounted mine on the break resivoir brake line. It is only an 1 1/2" long and very solid. It was a last minute deal and I have left it on anyway because it looks pretty good there and works without a hitch!
