Hey all,
I just put my High Tech Speed tail light integrator on my 02 R1 today and now my lights are flashing like a rabbit in heat! :bash
It was my understanding that if you have at least 2 lights that were non-LED's then the stock relay would be fine. Well, no such luck. I still have my stock 2 front lights, but the rear is only the tail light eliminator. :2bitchsla
Anyway, I'd reallllly like to be able to get the Libertek relay by this Thursday so I can install it prior to Vegas. Otherwise I'm going to look like a damn squid with my lights flashing a mile a minute! :(
I'm checking some of my local shops tomorrow, but thought I'd post just in case someone bought one and didn't use it or something.
Thanks,
Mat

If you can't get a Libertek by Thursday just get a EL-12 relay from your local auto parts.

yeah I put the tail eliminator on my 01 with no leds and it flashes fast, I kinda like it. more of an attention graber. just the other day I installed some front flush led's. man that messed up the whole thing now I gotta figure something out.
make that 2 libertek relays

Hey there guys,
Ya, I already have an order coming from McCoy's so I just called him up and asked him to throw one onto my current order. Only thing is, it won't be here till probably Monday (after Vegas). I just didn't want to look like an idiot for Vegas is all.
However, I do agree that it should draw more attention blinking fast because it's not "normal". So you might be right that it might be better (for now) so that motorists notice the bike.
So, I'll probably just wait for the relay to come in Monday and put it in. I don't feel like doing the temporary fix with the EL-12, but I honestly appreciate the advice. I really only want to cut into the wires once and soldier it once with the Libertek and be done with it.
I just figured I'd take a chance in case anyone here had one. Hehehe...thanks for replying though!

good D wire it once the right way and be done. yeah my flush mounts have this knight rider running light effect but shuts off after you raise rpm. then the turnsigals just flicker in front, normal blick at fast pase in the rear. the light suk serve no visual purpose to other motorists. so I have to search for lights for an 01 seems to be less things available. damn should of waited a year. oh well the search continues.
