There's a couple of things I have organised for the "Geeps" in October. After some carefull consideration relating to time available and Leave time for all. This is what I've come up with...

THIS IS AN OPEN INVITATION: IF YOU WANT TO BRING NONE R1 RIDING MATES, I SAY THE MORE RIDERS THE BIGGER THE PARTY SO BRING THE CAHNS WITH YA!

If you are coming to the Island from N.S.W and are riding with the Northern Squad get Friday and the Monday off work. Northern rides get Thursday/Friday Monday/Tuesday off.

Friday everyone meet up at "Manuka" in Canberra - 2 minutes south of Parliment House. We'll stop for 30 minutes to 'meet and greet'

The plan is to be at The Island on the Friday - Late Arvo' and leaving Monday 09:30ish. The plan is for the Northern team riding Thursday to Dubbo and Friday to The Island. Monday to Dubbo and Tuesday to Brisbane. If the N.S.W lads are in Canberra at 10:00 we'll all get to The Island at 15-16:00ish - if we don't have a play on the way. If we do we'll make up some time, eh?! Stops for Beers/cokes/smokes/food and fuel 20 mins here and 20 mins there.

1. Here's the Trip.

Day One: (Northern Riders)Thursday
5 riders(so far) and the support car.

Brisbane - Warwick - Moree - Dubbo(stop for the night)14.5 Hours

Day Two: (Southern Riders)Friday

Duboo - Bathurst - Orange - Canberra(all N.S.W. Riders meet here - 10 additional riders joining. Petrols old work mates, 'Dogs to announce how many mates he's bringing) - Cooma - Bombala - Cann River - Orbost - Lakes Entrance - Barnsdale - Sale - Rosedale - Trarlagon - Morewell - Leonthagi - Iverloch - Wonthagi - THE ISLAND14.3Hours total/7.3 hours from Canberra to the Island. Give or take a 1/2 hour.

Sorry Two Dogs I have to cut out the Wollongong stop - but get your boys and get over to Canberra.

Day Three: Saturday
Piss Drinking
Hooliganism

Day Four: Sunday

The Support Vehicle at this stage is a Falcon Ute. So if anyone is unlucky enough to toss it down the road, we'll pick you up in it. However. If more then two cahns bin it, your ride will be towed by the local redneck, be warned.....

Each individuals name will be printed on the front (left pec') i.e Petrol Spice, twodogs, lachlan, Monoman, Ashman, Blur1 etc etc

$30 each
I'm making $1 each shirt

If you want one post in this thread - I will use the posts in here as numbers of those that wont one and as an RSVP to the invite to the run - I'll shut the RSVP and the Order off 15-09-03 it will be given to you when you're on the Island and you come get it....

3. I will be making a R1-1NINTY banner for our Camp Spot so you'll see it and know where to go.

4. So Far - I've got Monoman(if he's back from Defense duties)/TwoDogs/Brother-in-law Spice & Me in my tent. Depending on Monoman/'dogs I might have spare corner(s) of tent...

5. Meat in an Esky and a Bar-b-que(gas) will be supplied $5 a head. Beer will also be provided 5$ a head don't worry you'll get plenty pissed for your $5, someones Daddy owns a liquor business :wink. Spirits are BYO. Ice will be brought from Brisbane and resupplied on the Island.

6. I need someone to ride in the Support Vehicle, Brother-in-law Spice will drive but someone must 2IC - Someone know someone?????

Well after 3 weeks wait i've now got my replacement bike (03-R1) after writing the 02-R1 off going up Fig Tree Pocket Road (Brisbane) i can say i'm interested.

Just one question. Where do i get the tickets for the race from up here in Qld??
