What ever you do do not buy these. They are the biggest pieces of c@*p I have ever seen. They are flimsy don't have a strong feel to them. I feel that if I were to stand up with my full weight on them they would snap off. I put them on with locktite and still couldn't keep them locked into position.

yeah they look the same but mine are blue and for a 2000. the piece in the middle that you use to adjust the shifter rod is bent and the right side doesn't stay locked in position. Yes I have put the blue goo on the bolts and I have never laid it down with these rearsets. So you are saying you never had a problem with yours? I took them off and put the originals back on. I have them taken apart to see what is wrong and whether I want to put them back on. If your so happy with yours I might give it another try. I was just so pissed off when I started this thread because I had just gotten home after going for a decent ride when I went to shift out of 3rd it wouldn't shift. I got it home and saw the rearset was causing the problem so I took them off and put stock on and had no problem. Also I have to have the brake light work off the rear brake for inspection and this doesn't give you a place to mount it. I made a mount myself. What did you do or does it not matter where you are?

LP offers brake light switches that will work with any aftermarket rearset . The switch is actually part of the banjo bolt , keeps you legal if you care
