I'm selling a 2002 R1. It was stolen and the guy who sold it to me sanded the numbers off. I don't have the money to buy a new frame so if anyone wants it go ahead and reply. The bike is mint silver and black. 1500 miles.

I have know clue who the guy is, or if he was the one who stole it. All I know is he sold it to me for $3000 and the numbers are ground off. I was considering buying a new frame with title, then making it a track bike. Anyone want it for $2500?

Sounds like a shaddy situation if U ask me, but makin it a track bike sounds like a good idea. The only thing I don't like about it is that this bike belonged 2 some1 that i'm sure LUVED their R1 and now some asshole is makin $$$ off of it and even if we don't buy it some1 will. It's a sad situation 4 the X-owner and the dick that is selling it. Makes me wanna :ugh

"All I know is that he sold it to me for $3000.00......" Well maybe that should read "All I know is that I PAID $3000.00 for an obviously stolen bike, like a moron, and now that makes me guilty of recieving stolen property and gross stupidity. So how about I just try unload this hot bike to some other dumbass on a public forum." I feel I can speak for most of the folks on this board in this case and you can kiss our collective asses. :butt :butt :butt :butt :butt :butt :butt :butt

So I'm sure you'll be hearing from our gevernent sooner or later. way to go asshole. :thumbup
