Is it normal for your bike's handlebars to shake back and forth when you ride with no hands? My old bike didn't do this, but my R1 does. I'm assuming a steering damper would fix this?

I got myself a new front tire installed this monday and after that my bars didn't shake anymore (when riding with no hands) Addicted 04-25-2002, 02:26 AM I noticed the same thing yesterday. First I tought that the balance weights on the front rim was gone due to wheelie practice, but since they were still on the rim I figured that its just my worn out tyre that is unstable.
