Does any1 know if it's possible to fit an 25Kw kit on an R6 and would it still b drivable? I heard that the kit restricts the amount of horsepower produced to 34, but the torque remains mostly there. Would an R6 or other superbikes still be reasonably drivable with that kit?

I've never heard of the kit, but I'd like to know why someone would "want" to decrease horsepower?

The law....... below 21 for the first 2 years of license Hp cannot exceed 34 (25Kw). I know the kits exist because that's what all the (european) sites say about that law. And on the spanish suzuki site it's mentioned that theyre gixxer's etc. can come with the kit straight out the factory. Im jus wondering if the 600 superbikes would still be drivable. And if it's possible to run it in properly when one of them kits are fitted...

Oh, ok...now I understand. It must really suck to ride over there. Here in the states, our bikes can go as fast as we want them to. Mind you, we may end up in jail...but hey, at least we have that option :crash :lol
Good luck trying to find the kit Bro, and I'll keep my eyes open for ya..

why would you spend so much money on a bike to contain the hp...just my $.02 but why not get a smaller bike for a couple of years?

that's an option aswell, getting a smaller bike for a few years but... that bike will always be limited to 34Hp, when the 2 years have passed simply have the restrictions on the R6 or whatever it is removed and can use the bikes full power. Alot better than having a smaller bike, having to sell that after the 2 years and then buying another bike... Or is that just me thinking that?

Ok, this leads me to my next question. If you restrict a brand new bike, how will that affect the break-in? You know what they say, if you break your bike in "softly," you will always have a weak bike....

I know i was thinking the same... That's y i thought to not get a new bike to restrict it for them 2 years but get like a bike with still a low mileage but broken in... Btw is that the right term break-in? English ppl tend to call it run-in... Or is that jus them brits bein stupid?
