anyone done any 1/8 drag racing

went drag racing last night at an 1/8 track. i have an 02 with 2,200 miles and all stock. the best i could do was a 7.016 at 106.45mph. this is pretty much what i expected since my 00 did almost exactly the same times when it was all stock. on my 00 i was eventually turning 6.7's and 110mph with a muzzy full system and jet kit without strapping or lowering the bike. cant wait to get the muzzy and pcr for the 02. has anyone else raced their 02 yet, what were your times?

The best I had on my 750 was 7.60 but since it was my fist time at the drag strip I had the timming tree wrong :D I was waiting for the green light to come on before I began to launch...hahahaha I think I hit the speed trap at 103MPH. This was on my 01 GSXR 750 and it was bone stock

Thats pretty good times man. If you were doing the 1/4 you would definatley be in the 10's. I am fairly new to the bike thing (used to race a KZ900 a ways back) but I have been Drag'in cars for 15 years. A mid to low 6 in the 1/8 is almost always going to be a 9 in the 1/4. if Your low 7's on a stocker your doing pretty good. What was your 60'? I would also like to know what your MPH was in the 1/8th. Later, and nice ride'n KWCOMP:thumbup

hey KWCOMP, my best 60ft was a 1.796 and the best 330ft was a 4.704, mph was 106.45. I know the bike is capable of better times and speeds but it likes to wheelie--its definately not a drag bike but i like to do my own dyno runs on that 1/8 mile stretch of pavement. I just ordered a power comander 3r yesterday and will find out how much it helps with stock exhaust this thursday. will have a muzzy on it at the end of may and should be back in the 6.7's.

Sounds good man!! I am not to sure about the 60' times, they seem a little off the pace but like I said I haven't dragged a bike in a while. Let em know how the PCIIIr does. I have one on the way for my own as well. Later!!!

I'm a big dude at 270lbs. Here's my best 1/8 mile time: 1.780 60' 4.636 330' 6.877 1/8 mile 110.19 mph

Those are about the same times I run I think my best 1/8th is 6.73 @111 and my best 1/4 is 10.34 @ 140ish i'm basically stock just an akro race system, and a strap.

I have ran in a car but never my bike I used to run 8:50 in a 1972 corolla T3C
