I would like to recommend the VFXKits taillight integrator and LED animator and publicly commend VFXKits for putting out such a great product.
If anyone is considering purchasing an integrator don’t waste your time looking anywhere else.
I would consider myself to be very hard to impress but I was impressed by this product.
First off, the price is equivalent if not cheaper than the competing units…don’t forget to calculate the currency conversion. http://www.xe.com/ucc/
Second, the unit is very bright…far brighter than stock. The circuit board is black for higher contrast as well. The kit includes two trick additional blue LEDs and five animations besides the standard running braking and turning.
The people I spoke with at VFXKits were very helpful, made a few exceptions for me and got the product to me from a different country very quickly.
The workmanship on this product is very sharp. I scrutinized but was unable to find any flaws. I had received a related motorcycle electronics product from a different company the day before and its overall appearance and craftsmanship were lackluster in comparison.
Additionally, the kit comes with every imaginable component. Based on the instructions and equipment provided you might think that the manufacturer was expecting you to remove a patient’s pacemaker, not install an integrator. The kit comes with detailed instructions including step-by-step color pictures and easy to follow explanations. The kit even contained rubber bands to hold the assembly together for gluing, cut off wheels for your Dremel, heat shrink tubing, alcohol pads for cleaning and even a little pouch of adhesive for reassembling the housing. (The glue pouch even appeared to have a hand drawn dotted line indicating where to cut to open.) I am honestly surprised that the box didn’t contain a midget that with a tool belt to do the work for me.
If I was to fault VFXKits for anything it would be for being too organized and professional…I am not making a flux capacitor here! These guys should probably be planning space missions but are instead building motorcycle toys. Try as I might I can’t seem to describe how meticulously crafted and impressively compiled this kit actually is.
All in all, the kit is sick. The animations are great. (One mimics Kit from KnightRider….”Hello Michael, my analysis shows that the silver ones are faster!” ) The LEDs are very bright. The craftsmanship is sharp. The accessories and instructions are perfect to an unnecessary degree. I highly recommend this product. http://www.vfxkits.com/pr_r1.html
