Well... here is my review. Please keep in mind that I never had any other brand of lines in and pads I think were stock since I never changed them. They looked like HCB pads though. I think previous owner had them because they weren't that bad and I put 11k miles on my bike.
Anyways, here it is.
So I changed the lines and put new pads in. I got my stuff from revlimiterracing.com (I think thats the correct address) So I drained my fluid and put in Honda Dot 4 brake fluid. After I was done, I went for a ride.
At first, when I took a bike out of the garage, my new pads were dragging big time. It's kind of made me uneasy. But once I went for a ride it was much better. Now I can bearly hear my brakes when I push my bike. Pads dont' bite like crazy where you will do a stoppie as soon as you touch the level. Instead, they give you this nice smooth stop which I really didn't have with my previous pads.
Galfer SS lines....
Those made a big differance. The level feels different from stock lines. It seems like I am getting much more feedback now. The level is not mushy. Instead, it gradually gets harder and harder. It doesn't grab like stock setup would. It's very smooth and you can get more feel out of the setup like that. I love it.
Lines had a very good quality finish. Althouh one of the ends on one of the lines was very slightly bend, it didn't make any differance. You use the bend to allign the lines by the master cylinder. They come with all necessary washers that you will need to use.
Total cost:
Pads: 66
LInes: 80
Total time of install: 2 hrs (and thats with few smoke brakes)
Very happy with it. If you are planning to do track days or racing school, I would recommend this setup.
Thank you and have a nice day
