I'm in San Clemente, give me a shout this weekend. I have to work Sat AM but Sunday should be good.

Ronin and i put about 400 miles on the bikes today, was a fun ride....gonna try to get something going next weekend as well, details to follow

Sorry I didn't get back, I was busy this weekend and next weekend I have to work ! So the 10th is the day for me.
I just put a set of OZ's with sportechs on the bike,I can't to see how they work !

We linked up in Oceanside and went from there to Ramona and up to Julian then we cut up the 79 and R3 to Hemet and did the 74 out to Palm Desert. We took the Interstate back most of the way. We split up at Lake Elsinore, he went on to San Diego and I cut over Ortega to the 5 and back home. It was a good ride, lots of variety.

Jim and I did a ride way out there like that before. Hit 76, 79, Palomar, Banner Grade off of 78, Sunrise Hwy and I took Ortega over and back.

Was a blast and was like 400 miles total or something. But I was tired as a dog when I got home. hehehe...

Once I get my darn calendar photo shoots done (hopefully only have 4 to go now), then I can finally free up some time to ride with you guys again!

When I go that way,I'll start at the 5 and Ortega to the 15,76, up the front of Palomar, down S7, Mesa grande,Vulian(sometimes) and back the same way.It's about 325 miles. Great Ride,The front of Palomar is my favorite part of the ride,it reminds me of GMR.

We had a good time, it wasnt too hot till we hit palm desert, but the heat there made up for the lack of it everywhere else !! I would like to go out again this sunday if there are any takers, Ronin i am about to PM you my mobile # like i promised a week ago ! :crash I think however it needs to be a bit shorter this time, that 40 min ride home after everything else was a butt kicker

Maybe we can drop down to Anzo-Borrego this time and hit some of those roads.

I'd like to start early (more time to ride). If anybody from OC wants to come I can meet you all at the Denny's off Pico Ave. in San Clemente at 0730. Hyfi, where do you want to meet? Do you know someplace in Escondido? Or maybe the Mobile station at the 76 / 15 intersection? You can plan this link up so that it is more conveniant for you and anyone else you might drag along.

The station at the 76/15 is perfect, you all leaving san clemente around 8 probably if you are meeting at 730, how about 815-830 at the gas station ? there are a few guys taht want to go but i know one cant make it for sure, (bike is being painted) two others are supposed to let me know tonight

It's going to take about an hour to get to the Station. We'll try to make it by 0845 but I'll bring my cell and call you if we are either late or early.

Check your PM bro...I think I'm going to go down there to Denny's too. I need to have a fun ride since I do just commuting lately every day to work in LA. :( That's definitely no fun.

Well Jay (Viking) and I had a good ride today. we only did about 250 miles since I had to be home early. We went over Ortega, down 79 up to Julian and back. Nice easy ride, not too much traffic on 79, but Ortega was a different story.
Next time maybe some of you slackers will come out and play ;)
Anyway looking forward to seeing you all on the 9th, but I probably won't ride too long with you all due to something that just came up.

Don't know, we were going too fast to see any.:lol

Actually I don't remember seeing any outside of the main towns (Elsinore, Capistrano, etc.)

I was somewhat nervous going that fast as I was looking out for cops the whole time, but then again they couldn't catch up anyway!:D It was a nice ride, too bad more of you couldn't have joined us. Maybe next time...

Sorry i didnt make it, work related emergency came up at the last minute Sat night and i had to take care of that, took all night and most of the day sunday. I plan on heading up for the ride on the 9th though !
