they have em Bolt on too forza 07-24-2003, 03:39 PM I recently got a set of "training wheels" for my oo' r1 and let me tell you they work....well, umm...allright, I am doing the same time as I was without the bars (1.60 ish). Mostly because I need to put on a full 7" slick instead of running it with a MCR2 m/t tire. The busa I run with at the 1/8 mile track was running 6.70's on a stock height bike with a 50 dry shot of NOS and sprocket changes. After bolting on the bars and a 7" slick, he's going 6.05. WOWSER!!!
6 1/2 tenths for about $500.00 That's a good deal!
What I'm advising is don't waste your money on just bars. Get the slick also. The bars will just make you spin your tire and you will not net any real gains in your et.
Something else to consider: the slick will make your final gearing considerably taller (more top speed less bottom end) Another thing is the slick is over 2lbs heavier than your average street tire.
