i've been riding for 5 years now but never really did wheelies i'm going to start attempting them. 1. what gear should i start in today i tried twice when i was comming down my road to my house. in first gear went about 25 miles an hour and let go then just hit the throttle a little and got it up a little bit is this the best way to start a little bit, then try more throtle, and more ect. 2. is it hard to keep the steering wheel straight when comming down probally should get a steering damper huh. 3. i'm still in break in mode so i'm not over doing it yet only got 200 miles on it i just got it yesterday. i also got it up a tiny bit in 3rd gear i could feel my handle bars ge very light. thnxs all

I'd say... don't wheelie that bike just yet. Make sure the break-in period is over. Then.. get a steering damper. Then... go to some deserted road and practice. Just be careful. Wheelies aren't everything.
