Hey bike night at Spectrum is on the 12th at 6pm. Is anyone besides Ronin and I going? Not really a "ride" but a nice night to get together. They raffle off cool stuff. Last time we were there they gave away a brand new Arai helmet! Lots of cool things and people with nice bikes. Hope to see you there.

Hey there Hot/Ronin, I'm sure I'll cruise up there, but can't get there until about 6:30 or so. I work up in LA every day and takes me till about 6:30 to get home...so around 6:30-7 pm I can be there. Hope to meet you guys and say howdy. Hify, It's Spectrum Motorsports. It's in Irvine near I-5 & Lake Forest. If you need actual directions, I can tell you but it's probably about 1.5 hours or so from San Diego, but i don't know where you are exactly at in SD. Oh ya...one other thing... Don't they do this on the first Tuesday of every month? If so, we would have missed it. Then again, I might be wrong. I've only gone to it like 2 times I think. Heck you guys were probably there last time I went. LOL

We usually are there but we have missed the last couple due to work or other commitments. Yes it is AUGUST 12 so we didn't miss it yet. It's only about 20-30 minutes from here, so maybe about an hour for you Hyfi.

I just found out that i am leaving sunday to escort my friend that wrecked a few weeks ago on palomar back to texas to the spinal rehab center that he is being admitted to. So, I dont know if I will be home yet from that, but....if i am i will be there !! PS: i would need a good address at least so i can look it up on mapquest

Just look for us my bike is the red R6 tag (Hot R6) Hubby is silver R1 tag (RoninR1) Demon if you make it up we can talk about the bodywork you might want done Hopefully we will finish Ronins bike (new Metzlers, braking wave rotors, piaas 520 conversion...stuff like that) you should all come to see how nice it looks If anyone from south wants to hook up let us know. we will leave from San Clemente on the 5 and can meet up with you. Post up if you are interested and we can work out the details.

I'll be there tomorrow for sure... I'm just not sure when I'll show up. I can be there by about 6:30 if I come straight from work, but then I usually have dockers on and a dress shirt...I REALLLLLY don't want to do that. LOL However, I could probably get home by about 6:30, change and be back up there by 7 or so...only other problem is, I know most people start to leave at 7:30 and I think it shuts down at 8...so, I'm torn. Either show up early and look like an idiot (yes, I have to ride to work with dress shoes on..UGGGGHHHH) or be late and look semi normal. LOL!!! Decisions, decisions... :bash :crash LOL However, I'll be on a red/white/black 2002 R1. You can't miss my name (R1 Demon) across the windscreen in chrome. Alex has seen me and my bike before (once. LOL).

Sorry Demon, we didn't make it. The stupid front rotor bolts on the R1 wouldn't come out and the chain master link mucked up when we installed it, and prob after prob on that bike!! I am still working on getting out 3 more of the rotor bolts. I have to grind down the heads and pull the rotor off then get the rest of the bolt off with vise grips!! What a pain!! They are only supposed to be torqued to 13 foot pounds but I think these were torqued to 130 foot pounds!! AND the whole screw was coated in Locktite!! What a pain!!!! Anyway we didn't get up there. How was it? Any cool stuff? Anyone else go?

No worries...I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss you guys. LOL I'm not really a great social butterfly, so I don't walk around chatting with everyone (wish I could fix that!). It wasn't bad. There were about 40 bikes there. 2 Hot dogs and a Coke for $1.00. That was pretty cool. No prizes given away this time though... However, it was pretty cool. I saw a couple of R1's but don't know if they were/are on this forum or not...again, I hate being shy and not walking up and talking to people. LOL Well, good luck on those bolts...sounds like a heck of a job so far! :(
