Riding with yer lights on...during the day?
I always ride with dipped lights but recently I've seen more and more bikes with full beam and some with no lights on. i think its better as the car drivers can see us better but some might say the light causes them to incorrectly gage our speed when they are about to pull out of a junction into our path.
what do u do?

oh by the way i use dichroid filters on my lights that give off a rainbow effect .not strictly leagle in the uk but it looks fcking good. :D :D :D

They'll burn up your harness. Just before I traded my 01 I noticed the plug was melted just above the connectors. If I was keeping that bike I'd have been concerned . But on my 02 I think I'll be gettin the filters to. I saw them in the lockhart phillips catalogue.

I run "Max Purple" bulbs, which oddly enough are red, in my '99 red R1 and have never had a problem. Although those type bulbs tend to have a shorter life. I ran the blue ones in my ex's Jeep Grand Cherokee and have gotten tons of compliments on both... They ain't cheap though, $35 US My lights are on ALWAYS...

so u want to pull the chicks huh? and u want multi coloured DICHROIC filters to help...hmmm for you pal anything,
1st place to look if you are in the uk is M&P they are quite big and have chains ( and chains) all over the country.
2ndly a company called MPS is a mail order company and they also sell the filters.
3rdly if you really cannot get them then e mail me at cadburys@fastbikes.freeserve.co.uk
with your credit card bank details and will buy them for ya....cough ahem
