Hey, I am going to be in Omaha for quite a while (14 weeks) starting on Monday for a business trip (weekdays only). I was just wanting to say hi to some fellow R1 riders in that area. I won't have my R1 with me, but I will at least have my truck so I won't be completely vehicle-less. Let me know if anybody in the Omaha/C.B. area is interested. :hellobye

I really wish I could bring the 1. I might take it down for a week or so, but I first am going to bring my truck just to get settled.

I am leaving MN to drive down there tomorrow, 08/24. I will be staying at the Embassy Suites. I will only be there on weekdays. My boss is flying me home every Friday after work. I am a Corporate Instructor for a major communications company. I basically teach programming and stuff to Cust. Svc. Reps, Techs., etc. Unfortunately my job requires that I go to where the work is. But I like my job & it pays the bills.

Nah, it's not high tech. I know what you mean about getting away from work on the 1 tho! I am going to miss her when I am down there. But, it won't be that bad, I'll still see her on the weekends. The riding season in MN will be coming to an end in just a month or two. By the time I go back to MN for good, there will be 2 feet of snow on the ground. :(

Yep I hear ya, the season about to an end we got at least two months left so use it wisely. between work and an 19 month old gril I try to ride as much as I can.

OK, I am back home now. Just finished my first week down there. It's actually one of the nicest places that I have had to conduct business at recently. I drove around a bit & saw Harrah's, the zoo, etc. but what the hell is with the Huskers??? You might as well have named them the Inbreeders. :lol Just kidding. Anyway, I am home for the weekend, but I will be back down on Monday evening. I am staying at the Embassy Suites on 10th Street.

Hey whats up guys? I live in Omaha and I've got an R1. I've never looked at these squadron posts before, but I've been posting on this board all summer. I thought for sure I was the only guy in nebraska who had a motorcycle AND knew how to use the internet!! :lol So anyway I mainly ride my R6, but I also have a 2003 silver R1 I take out on occasion. It's actually for sale if any of you guys are interested. I also do mechanical repairs and maintenance on bikes if any of you need any work done. We NEED to get together and ride before winter hits hard. I will be out riding today for sure. Oh, I just bought a 4 wheeler about a month or two ago. It is an '87 TRX 250X. It is awesome. Not perfect looking, but it is excellent for stunting. I can post pics when I get home if you want. Sorry, but I don't know anyone who is selling one.
