How much does it cost to turbo the R1. Plus the exhausts under the rear seat look awseome (like a Duke) how much and what do you think of them... The under seat pipes do look cool. Bike City in Adelaide have got a 99 red R1 with the four pipes like the MV. Not sure on the turbo job though, I think $5000.00 Aus mark. Read something in AMCN a long time ago on a 99 turbo charged R1. With the carb injection thing, injection should be ultimately faster. As far as diaphrams, if you maintain a good clean air cleaner, and dont run any funky chemicals in your scoot you shouldnt have any problems for years.
