Hey I just want to let you know that the Laguna Niguel Cycle Gear has a terrible manager and incompetant employees. This is not the first bad experiance I have had with that store but just this morning........ 9:45am I call Cycle Gear Laguna Niguel. Chuck (the manager) answers the phone "Thank-you for calling Cycle Gear, this is Chuck how can I help you?" I inform him that I need some front rotor bolts for a 2002 R1 does he have any? "We don't open until 10:00am and I am real busy right now with inventory and can't help you right now, call back after 10" SO now I am miffed! Bad customer service yet again. So I call up the San Marcos store 9:49am Cycle Gear San Marcos "Thank-you for calling Cycle Gear this is Karen, how can I help you?" I need front rotor bolts for a 2002 R1 "Let me check and see if we have those in stock................... No sorry it looks like we don't but I can order them for you if you would like, they should be here in 2 days would you like me to order them for you? What time do you open? "10am" Why did you answer the phone and answer my question then if you aren't even open? "Because we are here and it is good customer service" So there you go. I have never had such a bad experience at any Cycle Gear but the Laguna Niguel store. I chalk it up to a lousy manager and poorly trained employees. If you live in the area and need something from them let me know and I will get it for you from the San Marcos store! Thanks for letting me vent!!!:hellobye

Must have been a bad day for Chuck. I've dealt with him several times and he has gone out of his way to help me out, actually a few people there have. Sucks that he did that, because it only takes one time to lose a customer.

Oh believe me it has been more then one time. EVERYTIME I have gone in that store I have a bad experience with customer service! Ever since they opened! I would not have been so upset about the phone conversation if it had been the only time. This was just more iceing on the cake.

Hey HOTR6, did you ever complete your 520 Conversion? Would you by any chance know how many links the stock R6 chain has? If anyone knows the answer to the link question, please let me know... :hellobye

Damn and I was considering calling Cycle Gear about a new 190 M1 rear for my bike. I need one this weekend BAAAAAADDDD. :( My tire is toast and that's why I didn't ride last weekend on the big ride. :cryin Maybe I should try somewhere else. I just don't want to pay a million bucks for a new rear

sorry Fanatic I don't know how many links the stock chain has, but why would you want to stay stock on an R6? Stock is like 532 or some odd and it is a pain to get that chain not to mention the price. Go with the 520 conversion. I did get my 520. I got an RK gold race chain and the Vortex rear. Looks sweet I will take pics soon. Went with the same set up on the R1 got a SCREAMING deal. I kid you not I even impressed myself on that one!! If you need any deals let me know I will get you the best price and we install most of the products through our company. Demon check your PM I will get that tire for you and install it. Let me know

Ya, I screwed myself too this time. I paid $181 out the door for my rear 180 M1. (having it put on by Mach 1) I didn't have enough time to work with Hot & Ronin to have them help me out...otherwise I would have. However, next time when I have to get my set...I just might be talkin' to them. ;)
