Anyone going to Road Atlanta for the Big Kahuna

My friends and I are goin to Deals Gap that weekend. We are leavin on the 16th and coming home on the 19th, we have talked about heading south on I-75 and stopping by there.

Yeah I will be going. I have been for the past 5 years and at least for the next 5 also. I have to work Friday and that Sat. but I will be there bright and early Sunday. If the weather is nice I will be riding there. What part of ATL do you live? Me and some friends will be heading out together from Marietta. Send me an email if you or anyone is interested. I cant wait to smell that race gas. :D

I have never been before I want to go I heard if you ride youe bike Parking is free is this true? Is anyone going from Gwinnett I live in Lawrenceville.

As far as motorcycle parking you have had to pay in the past but they changed it for this year, it is free. At least is says so on the flyers. You might want to try their site at www.roadatlanta.com to see if it is for General Admission or what. I am not sure but even if you do have to pay it is well worth it. On a bike you can easily ride around to the different places to watch the races. If you have never been to a race in person you have to go. Especially if you live as close as you do.

Yeah, I will be going almost all weekend. I am gonna do the parade lap (extra $10). But I think it is worth it. You get to actually have a small idea as to what the track is like. 1tyson, Spin, Mellonhead, and Bryantbigbear, it would be cool to link up if you guys go. I am ordering my tickets today. Just purchased my tickets for FRI SAT and SUN at the BIG KAHUNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jump :jump :jump I am pumped. Got paddock access :rock Got parade lap on SUN :rock I may not make it on FRI but I'm gonna try. Hope everyone can ride there. Hope the weather is good. If it rains, I'm gonna be :mad: . CBRKLR- I am all for meeting you guys here on the forum. Be cool to put some faces to the names. I took Friday off so planned on riding up all 3 days. Just let me know. I am in Athens so I would normally take a diffrent route to get there then the way you would come, but have no problems meeting up somewhere with anybody. Just let me know.

We are staying at a motel off of exit 129, heading south on I 85 turn left and i think its on the right. I have a 02 silver R1 with the big ass mud flap on the back. Near it shoud be a black ranger.

The One - What days will you be there. I am heading up to the track on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so if you are there on Friday maybe we can get a few street miles in before heading to the track.

Be there around 10:00 fri morning. But i have to be easy im still on break in. I will be at the hotel right off of the exit. if your I 85 north make right , it should be on the right.
