Meeting 8/31/03

Ok guys, I really haven't heard a definate answer on this, so here is what I propose and you guys tell me what you think. Squad Meet: Hooters 290 in front of Tinseltown. When: August 31, 2003 Time: 2:00 PM What To Bring: Yourself, any significant others or what have you. Bring your bike if you want. A lot of the squad is actually bikeless right now, so this is really just a meet and greet. If you want to go riding as a squad afterwards, just convince squad members at Hooters to go with you. Yeah.. I am driving my storage locker so people can stash their stuff instead of carrying it around, and Rawed says he is riding his R1. You guys should really check out the mods he has done. They won't be as impressive during the day, but I think he has done a damned good job. Normally in a post, I try to rag on Rawed as much as possible, but I can't when it comes to the little things he has done to his bike. It really looks good. Rodeo

Right now, plans are still for Sunday at 2. If anyone has any problems, please send an email out to everyone, and post on here. Also, if you CAN make it, make sure you tell everyone, so we know how many to expect and can make sure we get a table to accomodate everyone. Again, I will be there early so you can store your stuff in my truck if riding your bike and not have to take it in with you. I drive an '02 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab that is silverish in color. wow, sky diving was a blast! as far as me coming..man..Im goign to try to pull myself up there. I am SO tired right now..im goign to sleep and see what I feel like tomorrow. Hey guys, This is just the first meet. If it is inconvenient for anyone, we can always move it for any future meets. I don't imagine we will use this one in the future either, depending on where we want to ride to. So, bring ideas of ride directions, or where to go on rides, and maybe today we can figure out where to go for future rides. IE.... Ride to Galveston to cruise the wall and back. Or Ride to College Station to invade Imagine's house and have a party. (I wonder if Rawed can balance a keg on the back of his bike) See you guys there! I am looking forward to this. Rodeo

I would like to apologize for not being able to attend. That is a long drive from Clear Lake, and it was pooring ass here. I suggest we make the next meet somewhere more central for everyone, and also when the weather is good. Sorry for not being able to make it.

Agreed. This weekend's weather is supposed to kick ass. Wouldn't it be awesome if we (Houston area) guys could finally meet up after last week's fiasco? Well, we could break it down to areas of town. Guys in the SE portion meet up at a local Hooters, NE at a local Hooters, etc. Once the few people show up, head to the designated Hooters for the Ghostrider meeting. Or something like that............ I'm riding to Victoria on Sunday so let me know when this is going to take place. I might haul ass back if it's feasible or just skip the ride if everyone is meeting up early.

I'm in Motorcycle Safety Course all this weekend. Next weekend I'm moving to a new apartment, and on Sat. Oscar De La Hoya is in a rematch with Sugar Shane. But other than that my schedule is clear, let me know too.
