I went to the drag strip a few weeks ago and a kid came with an 03 R6. The bike was stock except for an Akrapovic slip-on and he ran a 10.84!

11.2 will probably be tough to match on an R6. Especially if its you first time to the strip. However you can hammer it out of the hole because it doesnt wheelie like the R1. Practice your launch!!!

The best 1000' time I have seen for an R6 was a 8.81. The majority of R6's run in the low to mid 9 sec range in the 1000 ft.

Apparently they run a 10.3 stock, so im thinking i should at least get under 11's, my bike has full yoshi system, air filter, jet kit, takasago chain with one tooth less in the rear sprocket... Fingers crossed guys!!

Its not stock though, Ive got my fingers crossed that it will break the 10's... full yoshi system, air filter, stage 2 jet kit, takasago chain and sprockets with one tooth less in the rear sprocket...

Here you guys go > http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_perf_nums/ A good rider can get R6's in the high 10's according to this magazine review.

My best friend has a bone stock 03 r6 and I have seen him run 10.78@129. That is a bone stock bike! No pipe, no power commander, nothing. He is kinda small though... like 130-135lbs. He ran this with the bike lowered a little. He dropped the fork tubes a little and strapped the back. ( the lowering strap and links had not came in yet) I can post a time slip later if anyone wants to see it. I feel for people that think a stock R6 cant run in the 10's :iamwithst

I've seen an 03 R6 completely stock run a 11 flat. He also had good 60 times. I dont recall what they were exactly, but I do remember that they were good. I've also seen in mags and on the net times around 10.5. You can go to [url]www.motorcyclesuperstore.com and at the bottom click on bike specs. Choose the year, make, model, and it'll spit out specs including 1/4 mile times along with top speed.
