First of all hello to all, I finally found a home that is worthy of my stay. GREAT website here!!! Anyone running a 200 rear tire, I am running a Mich. Pilot and it has 26 lbs of air in it. Is this low or what for a 200 tire???

Nothing to do with performance obviously, strictly for the look of it.....But as I have come to notice, It does'nt look any bigger than the 190 rear. Just added a little weight is all I've really done. Oh well, I'll just have to wait until I eat it up and then I'll try a 180. ( I've read that the 180 is real nice, especially for cornering.) :D

if i was you i wouldn't change the size of the tire because you are messing up the whole geometry of the bike.

Quickly I might add!!! Does'nt really feel a lot different, but you can tell just a tiny bit in corners...:(

If you respect your R1 you MUST go at the 180/55/17 rear! You will see a diferrent bike and you will found that the bike will have a fantastic cornering!!!!1:rock

Michelins run a little narrower than lets say, Dunlop. Why, who knows. I've noticed that on other bikes a 200 rear (michelin) of course is about the same as a 180.
