Hi guys, i was going to polish my triple tree clamp, but i am having trouble getting it off. I was wondering are there any bolts that are not easily visible. I thought i removed all the screws but it still seemed like it was stuck pretty tightly. thanks for any help.:)

it will take you 2 minutes to remove it...

First, remove the two bolts that are hidden behind those two little bolt covers. They are right on the top of the tree. Take a screw driver or soemthing and lift the caps up and take the bolts out

Then loosen each bolt on the side that holds the clip ons.

Then remove the top nut.

remove the front brake fluid reservuor from the bracket.

lift up the top tree... it should slide right up.

Good luck getting the ignition off..... if you are trying to do that too.

Triple will come off easy, but dr.r1 is right about the ignition. It is held on by case hardened screws with no heads. The only way to get it off is to drill it and you may ruin the triple by doing that.
