First of all I admit I do sell these beauties in Sweden but even so I am first of all a motorcyclist and this is what I think of these wheels:
Quality and finish is superb...so d**n gorgeous. Lifting the first wheel up made me smile like an idiot...so incredibly light! Handling is of course benefitting big from a huge weight loss in this area. Magnesium wheels are light but these are even lighter. My R7 was already handling very good before and after I fitted the BST it was even better. It is of course difficult to say by how much (depends on how you ride and the situation) but the bike is notacibly easier to handle in turns and at speed in corners etc.
I've had them on for one season, track and street and have enjoyed every minute! For looks, handling and performance improvements I recommend them strongly! Tito 10-13-2003, 05:20 PM Are these track only wheels? If not How would they hold up on the street? R1ANDREW 10-13-2003, 05:41 PM KRK what kind of price could you get for me on these in the states. Would these be good for the streets? buckmaster 10-13-2003, 05:51 PM I have seen these, lots of cash but easily the most high tech wheel I have ever seen.couldnt see dropping that much $$$ so I got oz blur1 10-14-2003, 02:20 AM yes you can use them on the street (strength wise) as they are stronger than magnesium, but legally it depends on where you live. in australia they are street legal.:sneaky :yesnod and yes 3k would be a pair. KNEEDY R1 10-14-2003, 02:31 AM Now those are sweet but 3k cough, cough:eek: :thumbup KRK 10-14-2003, 03:48 AM Originally posted by R1ANDREW

'O2R1Pilot 10-25-2003, 11:51 AM If you want the best/lightest, CF is the way...Better be prepared to empty your bank account though. Also, CF wheels, at least the Dymag's my buddy runs seem to lose a little more air than magnesium or aluminum. He had to ship his front rim back to England to get the carbon hoop replaced (Magnesium centers) since his had a pinhole defect. They took care of him and replaced it no problem. But his bike was down for a while and the cost of shipping was $$$... blur1 10-28-2003, 12:12 AM Originally posted by 'O2R1Pilot

imho the bst wheels are far superior to dymag carbons in somuch as the process used in making the bst rims vs dymags way, again imho.:) | |
