Removing scratches

I'm wondering if it's really possible to remove scratches on the windscreen. I got this silicon spray that I want to use.. but will it do the job? or might it just damage even more? It's good to have a clean glass when you mount the video camera to the tank.

The silicone spray won´t do sh*t. Here´s what you should do. Get yourself a bottle of "Sonax flytande rubbing" and a bottle of "Sonax flytande hårdvax". They´re available at your nearest gas station. 1. Pour some "S.F.R." into a rag. Rub it onto your windscreen. Let it dry. Take another clean rag and polish it out. Or better yet, use an oscillating sanding/polishing machine. Repeat until you´re happy with it. 2. Coat your beautiful windscreen with "S.F.H" to get a fantastic gloss. Enkelt som fan.
