drag racing rear set up

what are the different set ups used on our bikes should i change the spring or shock? putting on a trac dynamics swing arn 6-9"over would i need the lowering strut

You can get the stock shock rebuilt and shortened. I had one redone by Fox for a Street Bike Shootout CBR1100XX. It allows you to not have to get the lowering link and have the shock set up for drag racing and your bodyweight.

thanks for the idea need to look into this i had the forks shimed for my weight never thought of doing the rear
