I guess you take the cake on akra deals, but what about all the other akra. pipes

The slip-on is ok....but that price on the full system at 815 is a great price.

I checked out your site and if I am mistaken those prices aren't posted on the site. I am assuming that those prices are only offered to Forum members????

i've seen such a variation in full system pricing, but little to no variation in slip-on pricing.... what's up with that ??? :( $487 is a good price (compared to $550), but hotbodiesracing.com has "cash pricing" for them at $483 with no group purchase. isn't he a forum sponsor too??? mabye a group discount ??? :confused:

Just curious...why would you want to add weight by installing a stainless system? The entire stock system is Titanium already. Just a thought.

Jesus Christ, Akra does make high mounts first of all www.kneedraggers.com has them for 495. And I think I see Cyclemall and $815 for a full system and Liquid has something like $869, last I checked 815 beats 869. I read it again and I still see that cyclemall is cheaper so I don't exactly see why Liquid wants anyone to read agian it will only make cyclemall look better. I think that you are mistaking the Evolution that cyclemall has posted for 1140, wich is a different pipe. Race system and Evolution system are different:iamwithst And if I am the idiot and you are selling the Evolution system for 869 that is 500 cheaper than retail I would say that is a good deal.

No, read carefully... Titanium full system...$869 This may be the Titanium can with stainless steel headers (race system which, by the way, is still lighter than stock), but the Evolution system (Ti headers and Ti can) can't possibly be going for $869.

I keep seeing people trying to sell the akro exhausts here in the group deals and trying to get as many sales as they can, that's awsome, but what gets me is the people that lobby around waiting to see who is the cheapest, that they can get it for $10 cheaper at another website or that their cousin's brother's uncle's mother has a dealership and can get it for an extra $5 cheaper if they can get 10 people to buy it. I mean come on. That is not a "Group Deal". If they can get 10 people to buy it and give them a deal of $400, then that is a "Group Deal". I bought mine with Cyclemall.net and I didn't mind paying the $505 for it. And I didn't need a "Group Deal" to get that price. I believe that you should find a dealer you are comfortable with and are comfortable with the price and just buy the damn thing, don't wait until someone "Jews" down the price for $5 or $10 on an article that is $500. If there is a $100-$150 difference then sure, wait then. But not for $5-$10. We sound like damn beggars. THE WORLD IS YOURS

That's what I figured, but I always want to share great deals with others. I hate to see people get ripped off.

NY2NJ, I accidently posted it in 2 of the threads, didn't mean to. In the other thread, there is a guy stating that if if he gets 10 people together, they can save 2%. Which is about $8.

sorry guys, but i hear what EUROVAMP is saying. :confused: :iamwithst (please don't flame me, this board is way too good to soil it with that kind of stuff) :) i think that vendors should be invited to post once. that's right, once. post your best price and that's it. they don't need a group buy because if they post their BEST price on this board, and the price is indeed the best price around, then they will get more business in the long-run (from word-of-mouth) than they ever would from a group buy. :thumbup for the record, i have nothing against group buys. i like to say a buck or two wherever i can. this is just my crazy idea. :finger

No flaming from me because I actually I agree with both of you -- to an extent. I understand that these vendors are in business to make money. Price wars are part of the game. However, businesses don't become successful based on how many new customers thay can reel in on group buys. A successful business relies more on customer retention. Customers are more likely to return if they know you have the best prices or you are at least selling close to the best price. Should the discounts for group buys be greater? In most cases they should. I usually don't get into group buys because the discounts aren't usually worth the time and effort, I'd rather pay full price somewhere else and avoid the added hassle of middlemen. However, this wasn't a group buy. For whatever reason, Cyclemall listed prices that are about 10% lower than what I've seen from other vendors with no conditions and I'm taking advantage of it.

Just got my Full Race Akrapovic System from Frank (cyclemall.net)... everything worked out perfectly!!!! also got my PCII, and Intuitive Frame sliders... great turn around time.. ill be posting pixs up soon.

It is very simple people, you can either make it real easy on yourself and deal with someone who know's what he is doing and talking about(Frank @ Cyclemall.net). Or you can call someone else who is just an average every day order taker and maybe just maybe you might get what you are really asking for. :fact
