New to this forum. Just like to see your opinion on this subject. Also, how many fingers do you use to pull in the lever? Thanks.:thumbup
How much to pull clutch lever in when changing gears?Blue Sky 05-15-2002, 10:05 AM Hi guys,
New to this forum. Just like to see your opinion on this subject. Also, how many fingers do you use to pull in the lever? Thanks.:thumbup Special K 05-15-2002, 10:10 AM I normally pull it all the way in, but they're quick shifts generally speaking...
I normally use just two fingers...sometimes three...depending. rktspd 05-15-2002, 10:20 AM I use two fingers and usually pull it in half way. You have better control of the bike by keeping
the other two fingers on the handle. It's also faster to shift. Sometime a quick tap will do as
well, when you really wanna go fast.. Brian0128 05-16-2002, 12:26 PM About a 3rd of the way in. Just a quick feather. It's smoothest that way. If I pull it all the way in, it jerks a little bit because I'm already getting on the throttle.... Wolf-R1 05-16-2002, 01:27 PM Originally posted by Brian0128

I agree...mostly you've got to learn to feel for the friction zone on your own bike. It may be a little different for each bike.:fact | |
