I am getting ready to buy a damper. Still a toss up of what brand. Just wondered if anybody know roughly how much just the mounts cost, so if I get a new bike I can transfer it over. I see the Scott's is about $125. This will probably help me make my decision. I hate to spend a ton of cash everytime I switch the damper from bike to bike.
Thanks

Where can you buy an Ohlins mount only?

I have an Ohlins with a Harris mount on it and it's awesome. It's mounted Ducati style (sideways) and it is a little cheaper/stronger than the Ohlins mount. Check it out...try www.ema-usa.com they have pretty good prices I think and customer service is also good.

i have harris mount too...but it's interfering with the bottom bolt on the right Helibar that is why i want ohlins mount, don't like graves mount.

Oh, I see. I don't have Helibars, so I'm not sure. Try the web site I gave you and give them a call and ask them; like I said, their customer service is very respectable.

I substituted my Harris mount with Ohlins mount when I bought my damper for an additional $80 at ema about 6 months ago.
I didn't like the way Harris mount looks 'cause it mounts the damper verticaly instead of horizontaly.
Now, I got Scotts. Looks even cleaner than the Ohlins mount.
Both dampers works great on me. :yesnod accept Ohlins damper vibrates a liltle since it has to have some kind of play while Scotts has very liltle movements.
