There wont be much weight savings.. the R1 stock wheels are pretty light. I would say your money is better spent on other things like a rear shock for example.

Those things look pretty wicked but I think the stockers would look just as good with a gold powerdcoat for $200 CDN. Polishing the stockers and applying translucent gold would look fricken awesome! :thumbup
