I go as often as possible. No need to change tires so often unless U R racing. Running Michelin M2's here and they have lasted 2 track days and a race wekend so far. Still got some left in them. Ran Pilot Sports on the R1 and got more than 8 track days and all my street riding on them.

Been to a track day twice and am looking to go again before it gets too cold to really ride fast. I suppose when it gets colder you could still work on technique and work in speed when it gets warmer. Hey BlueDevil...how far into the cold season do you still go to the track?

About 20 track days this season, 3 front, 4 rear supercorsa's and 3 sets of front brake pads + all other expenses. and After all i'm still satisfied. next year i guess little bit less thou! It's nice to see if next years R1 can beat this years lap times and how much?

Quite a few track days, and club racing. For the race, I always carried two sets of spare rims with new tires mounted (Pirelli's). I went through one set on racing and an average of 2-3 track days on a set of tires. BTW, Is that you kneedragger, or V. Rossi in that picture?

I have done trackdays since 1987. Some years more often than others, but usually 10 - 20 days each year. The tires holds up for a 2 day session, if they are new. If it's a one day trackday, I always change tires before the next trackday since they will be used in between on the road as well.

I did one back in Sept. Im looking at doing a bunch next summer, my season is over for this year, damn cold sux! I ran Pirelli Diablos and they held up great, still on the bike and still have plenty of tread left, even after almost 3000miles! My avatar is me at Beaver Run in PA..

How many miles you guys drive in one track day? I drive usually 80-100 miles, so i can drive 5 days/ 1 set of supercorsas. Of course best grip is gone after first, but i don't race so those will last and grip is still unbelievable! mostly, at our track day, we have 3 groups, slow/middle/fast, so we have 20min turns. then there is also track weekends.......

Doing +/- 15 a year. I'm using full slicks (pirelli and metzelers), they last about 5 hours of fast pace. I change front and rear at the same time. Else i'll have a bad front after 1-2 in the rear, too much hassle. They have plenty of wear left after 4 hours but they are misshaped then, flattened on the side with a bump on the outside where you pull on them full throttle. THey'll steer badly after that, mucho rubber for burnouts etc, pitty you can't wear them out completly messing around on the street

For track or race days Ive done. Daytona Roebling Road Road Atlanta a long time ago when they had the gravity cavity. Moroso As far as tire wear it depends on how much power you have, what tires you choose, how hard you ride, and how many heat cycles you put them through. Heres a pilot H2 after 5 laps in Daytona this weekend. It was on a 1K that I built for my buddy with 180+rwhp. Your results may vairy.

I Did a few last year, Highsided at CMP last november and spent the next couple weeks waiting for parts for the R6. This year, I've done VIR a couple times, Barber twice, NFMP once, CMP once, VIR and CMP were track days, the other were Races with WERA.. Next year, I plan to race the full southeast Regional Schedule with WERA. and do some CCS/FUSA stuff in between. I use Bridgestone BT001 Race Tires, and generally can Squeeze 2 days out of them, after that I change both and start over :) here I am at Barber on a set of 2002 Michelin Pilot Race tires that I could NOT get comfortable with, Even with me leaving the Tire warmers on for over 30 minutes before going out, they still took 2-3 laps to get completely warm ??

I've always tried to do at least 2 trackdays each year usually shannonville or cayuga. still waiting to try mosport, next year will be different though, I've sold the R1 and I'm buying a 600 strictly for the track next summer. I can't wait!!! I wont be happy with any less than 15 trackdays. although I've never run 2 back to back trackdays I imagine that would pretty much roast a set of tires. I'd be changing for sure after 2 days.

I haven't done a track day as I can't afford to crash without insurrance. My company will not touch me if the bike goes near a track unfortunately. I used to race though about 20 years ago. Started out on an RD 400 and then had a couple of TZ 350's. We used to do a lot of street circuits in those days. Around the house races they used to be called. The public liablity doesn't allow it any more. But it was fun dodging stray dogs and lamp posts etc. One of the circuits even had a jump which made for some good action.
