Has this squadron perished?

Damn, was this squadron involved in some mass accident that I didn't know about? Everyone move to the far side of the planet that doesn't have an internet connection? Just wondering since nobody has posted in here in about 2 weeks. Might as well shut it down...........:confused:

I gave up on the squadron thing. Texas is just too big to accomodate so many people. We can't even agree on a name. Only a few of us have actually met up for any rides. I probably won't be participating in any more voting on squad names or any thing like that. I WILL be posting planned rides and other meets in this section though and everyone will be invited. According to our temp CO (Godfather) who then in turn deemed me temp CO, I would like to pass that on to either 1700 or Rawed.

Whatever works bro. I've been waiting to see if anyone is going to post any rides since the weather has been kick ass. If anyone is interested, I'm getting a group of Warriors together to hit the drag strip in Baytown on Nov. 7 (Friday night). If you guys would like to meet up and head down there for an evening of fun, let me know. A pack of all Yamaha bikes...........that would be cool.....hehe

I agree with Pollution on the giving up thing. I have personally been sick of the whole name change issue, and the inability of anyone here to agree on ANYTHING. Going out for a ride Friday would be awesome. Maybe I can talk Rawed into going. . .(and letting me ride b*tch). We'll see :) You know, the whole squadron thing would have been a lot of fun. . .*sigh* :( ~Ares

Give it a little time and we will start with the "official" squadron stuff again. For now, just post up get togethers and rides. I've got some ideas once we agree to get it rolling again. As far as the ride to the track next week, we were thinking of meeting up somewhere in La Porte about 6:30ish since I won't get off till 6. You guys keep me posted if ya want to go.

Well ... I have gotten sick of some of these things. :argue I know you're busy and all Pollution and I've been thinking about if I really want to try to keep it going. I guess it can't be that bad so I'll take over if ya want. As long as 1700 helps.:D I like the idea of the squad but it needs structure. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, guess you guys discovered the same thing I did when I finally got back on-line...if you can't agree on a name you can't have much fun. I just got tired of everyone wanting a name change when there really isn't anything wrong with the one we have...other than personal opinions not giving way to majority votes. I would love to see the squad work, but I can't sit here and wade through the many posts trying to find an identity, it takes the fun out of it. I will continue to drop in here, and am willing to offer a helping hand if it's ever needed, but I'm going to have to continue to "just visit." PM me or post something here if you guys ever need anything.

as far as rides go...me and a bunch of my friends meet every sunday weather depending around noon at the hooters on 45 and nasa 1. we usually have anywhere between 15-30 bikes every sunday...so whoever is interested come on out
