Anyone Owned Graves Ti and Arata

I know I know, this topic has been beaten to death but has anyone owned both to give a small comparsion (preformance and quality)? I know the Arata has a better sound.

I have 164 RWH with a full arata and PC3.I am happy, sounds good too.

not the number that's important, but the gain. But I'd bet thatthe Arata will give more h.p and be lighter. But you go with what you like, it's your bike.

the day I got my box with the arata full titianium system I thought they forgot some parts the box was so freggin light..It also had the power commander in it too. I was about to get on the phone to www.starcycle.com and cuss them out till I opened the box... The header has to only weigh less than a pound.. The stock cat weighed more than the whole system.. And the other cool thing it is quiet till you hit 10k which is cool when you terrorize through the neighborhood at 3am here is a pic right after I put it on....Wont share the pic with the bottle might impede your view of the exhaust:cool:

I could not decide what exhaust to buy so I got both, they are completely different, the canisters on the graves is a lot shorter and also louder, the fit on the arata is better. I ran them both on the dyno and the arata had 2 hp more both set up with a powercomander, but the graves had by far the best midrange.I then fitted the arata to my mates r1 and when we raced from 2nd to 6th my bike with the graves was quicker. I then did the secondary butterfly mod and my bike ended up with 170hp with the graves.I took my mates bike (I sold him the arata ) and did excactly the same mods to his bike and ended up with the same 163 as he had before, so the graves liked the modifications and responded much better to it. Just for the record my bike made 152hp stock and 159hp with graves and powercomander +filter and I ended up with 170 hp with the powercomander,filter,graves stacks and butterfly mod. Sorry, I was confused then and am now just working out what you were saying, sorry. lol I rekon the shorter mufflers would be making it accelerate harder. A customer of mine with an R6 crashed his bike and instead of buying a new muffler, cut it up and shortened it (Arata). We back to abcked the mufflers, standard Arata and "stubby" Arata and the Stubby muffler made the same power, but made it HEAPS quicker and he said he could definately feel that on the road etc too. Thanks for the info. Each bike, as you've just seen there will respond differently, to the same mods as eachother. BUT, what you do see, is the same systems etc continually being better than others and then from that, you go with what YOU like, if you're chasing power etc. (if you just want sound, who cares?)

An example of what I was saying is this: lol (and what you just said also) No matter what bike you put them on, this would be the case every time to varying extents with either the Graves or Arata system vs this Same bike, both systems mapped. What the HELL is up with that? The jump is, i'm guessing "happy juice"? Hahaha NOS? But did you do the same thing with the Graves to see if it wouldn't? But I agree with ya, Arata's rule. thanks

Yeah, not to mention if the system did that to my bike (the huge onsert of power) I'd throw it in the bin. You would seriously need to hold the *** on when that button was pressed. :rock
