:rock I have the GP Plus

I love mine. They held up great during my highside. No tears, and just a hint of a scuff mark on the leather, and the knuckle protectors WORK !!

Those are the exact same gloves I was looking at before the parts guy pointed to the Aplinestars catalog...

do the last two digits bother you? The fact that they are connected that is.

I got the XXL and they where still tight. So I put them on over another pair of glove I have and road a little with them. It hurt like hell but they ware good now.

I have those and they are awsome. I had a pair and for some reason they started to get this whole on the palm of the right glove and the whole kept on getting bigger untill the you could see almost my entire palm. So I was like **** and I email alpinestar and the next day I got an email back asking were I lived so they can direct me to the right departmen.

I called the # they gave me, they told me to send the gloves and if they couldnt fix them they would give me new ones. Next thing you know I had new ones in the mail so there custumor service is awsome also in my eyes.

I have a pair and have been happy with them, but they are a little tight. They are XL. I tried putting them over another pair of gloves, but it did not seem to help much. Maybe I'll try again and wear them on a little ride to see if it helps. I can only compare them with the Joe Rocket Speedmaster ('02) gloves. The JR seemed more comfortable, however, the leather felt alot thinner (to me). Holding them at the same time, IMO the Alpinestars are a step above the JR's in quality and protection. Hopefully I can get them to stretch a little. I can't afford to replace them now.

Sweet, thanks guys. I tried the JR but the fingers were too long for me. I tried on a pair of the Plus and seemed to fit better so I went ahead and ordered the Pros.

i had those exact gloved till they were jacked from my truck )along with all my other gear)

they fit rediculously tight in the first month, but then the fit is great, the digit thing is ok, you won't even feel the difference, they are great gloves but TIGHT as hell in the beg.

enjoy

Only problem is the AS gloves changes color as you wear them.........black become gray, red becomes pink, etc.

I mean when you wear them, racking lots of mileage......not posing at the local burger joint.

:lol

Just got m pair of GP Pro gloves yesterday(white/red). Went for a ride last night, and although yeah they are tight,by the time theyre broken in,theyre going to be SOOO comfortable, the leather is soft, yet strong:jump. I tried on about 7 different sets of gloves on before going with these,so I didnt just get them because they're top shelf:fact

In regards to pricing,a friend of mine works in a bike shop and I was able to get them at wholesale price $240(ie:$120 US) Although as we all know its alot of money to pay for gloves-but even if I had to pay the retail price which is $330,I still wouldve gotten them as I think theyre well worth it;and would recomend to anyone forking out the :dollar to get a pair.

Next on my shopping list is a new set of leathers. Currently have a Spidi 2pc suit and while it didnt matter at all before,Im getting into track days now-and without any of the elastic around the crutch/inner thigh area and arms like it is on a one piece;Im finding it extremley uncomfortable moving my legs around the bike when cornering(even pushing as hard as I can outwards, getting very little contact with ground,so Im finding it hard to judge my lean angles:( )

I was looking at getting the Bostrom one piece, but Im open to any suggestions you guys/girls may have(trying to get a red/blue and white suit if possible). Also we dont have the range of suits available over here like most do over in the states;so chances are I'll have to order a suit from there-so if you know of a company that will ship the suit to Oz it would be appreciated.

Sorry bout the long post,
Cheers.
