Devil vs MIG

hello. i'm deciding between the devil and mig high mount slip-ons for my '03 r1. does anyone know which has a throatier/deeper sound to it at idle and low rpms? i used to ride a ducati so i'm looking for something similar if possible. doesn't have to be too loud, just deep. i'm not interested in hp increases, just the sound. thanks in advance for your thoughts.

my devil high mount ovo is pretty deep. rumbles the house when im warming it up in the garage and sets off the impact sensor on my truck when i go past it in the driveway. i like it, but ive never heard a mig. good luck silver03r-1

the mig is pretty quiet if you ask me.even on the highway when i open it up (i miss the muzzy on my zx7r) i just loved the way the aluminum fiber matched my silver 02.

I to have the devil high mount I have the titainum ovo I absolutly love it nice deep throaty sound.It doesnt sound like a vtwin though! But it is the deapest sounding pipe I have heard on a r1

sounds like devil is the way to go for my needs. i do miss the rumbling of a vtwin but the power of the r1 makes up for it. did you have any problems with the rear foot pegs with the high mount? thanks for the input.

I've had my Devil Ti slip-on for about a year have have not had one problem with it (foot pegs or other). As far as slip-on's go I'd say it's one of the best (sound & quality). I love it as much as the day I got it. I'm only selling my because I want (crave) a full system!

bip748, the devil high mounts come with all the hardware to keep the rear pegs. silver 03r-1

IF you want to go full system all you have to do is buy the headers for the devil. You don't have to buy a full system unless you're going with a different brand.

i have the devil high mount slip on. works great w or w/o rear pegs.

Devil Shotgun highmount....full system, love the sound, nice and deep, my friend with an aprilia rsv mille even complimented me!!You can keep or take off the passenger footpegs, doesnt matter.
