everytime you wash ur bike wax the whole thing, even the wheels. good test if the water doesnt bead when u wet ur bike down ur not giving it enough wax. you ll thank me later. also a polish on the black wheels and tank will make your bike look a thousand times better

thanx for the info man. But if u wax it everytime youre guna end up having shitty paint later on. The paint gets scrapped off each time u wax it, eventually scrapping off so much paint it will be thin and more susceptible to fading, bad scratches and pit marks from debris.

if you buff it everytime you will have shitty paint. the whole purpose of wax is to form a small coat of protection over the paint if you keep the layer of protection your paint will always shine. once you wash your bike most of the wax is eaten away but if u simply put another coat on ur good to go. believe me

if you wash your bike the right way it will look ten times better 1.) wash the whole bike with a good auto soap using a wash mit 2.) dry the bike, preferably iwth a chamois, run it aroudn the block 3.) (optional) go to k-mart or something and get a bar of detailing clay and lubricant, if your paint feels like it has little bumps or debris in it this will make it feel as smooth as glass. basically just spray the lube on and in a back and forth motion press the clay gently on the paint 4.) next use some sort of polish or glaze this will work wonders filling in swirl marks and will shine ur bike up, most the tank do your helmet to; a buffer would help 5.) next put some carnuba paste wax on your bike plastic, tank, wheel and even your helmet, let it air dry and then hand buff it off with a soft towel. 6.) tooth brush for the cracks and use some armor all or somethng like it for black plastic and ur seat 6.) check it over

Wax is for a protective coating, however polish removes some of your paint.
